You can see some pay-per-call ads in action now at AOL Search, if you type, for example, "boston florist". When you click on the sponsored listing with the phone number on it, you'll be taken on a special page hosted by AOL with more details about the business. Of course, you can always include your phone number in plain-vanilla sponsored text listings (or, say, your page title so that it comes up on search results pages), but that wouldn't be as cool, right?
