Slashdot asked its readers why and, most interestingly, how they block ads. A quote:
"I propose the following punishment for all internet advertisers who use invasive ads:
1) Strip advertiser naked.
2) Nail his (odds are he's male) penis to a tree.
3) Hand him a butter knife.
