Chart Chooser is a tool from Juice Analytics that, as its name suggests, lets you pick the right chart for your data and download an appropriate template for Excel or PowerPoint.
On a related note, you can generate dynamic charts on the fly with the newly released
Google Charts API.
It's not so much a tool for "good-looking data", but data representation that most accurately represents the underlying data set(s), right? It should look good as a by product.
ReplyDelete:) Right. In my world, a "good-looking" chart already fits the data it represents; I never thought of it as being separate. In my work, however, I do see a lot of charts that make a lot of sense but are horrendous in their design.
